Mama & Baby Essentials' goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality service and merchandise.
Because some of the items we sell are custom designed to your specifications, we ask that you make your selections very carefully as these items are not returnable/non-refundable. Exceptions will only be made if it is an error on our part. Do you have a brick and mortar retail store? TOP We get this question a lot. At this time our products are only available for purchase online. If you are a local customer and wish to purchase a Hotslings carrier, please use the Contact Us form. Let us know the type of sling, the print/color and the size if known. We will get back with you promptly and you can decide if you would like to schedule an appointment to pick one up. What are your hours of operation? TOP Ordering is available 24 hours a day via our website. We are always happy to answer any questions and to hear your suggestions. Emails are answered all hours of the day, including weekends. What is your return/exchange policy? TOP We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Products will be accepted for a full refund or exchange within 14 days if they remain unwashed, odor-free and tags (if applicable) still attached. They should be returned in the same condition as you received them. Shipping back to Mama & Baby Essentials is the responsibility of the customer in both cases. Items being returned should be insured. Damage that is caused by the Postal Service or other carrier is not the responsibility of Mama & Baby Essentials. Shipping fees and gift wrap fees are non-refundable. Are personalized and custom designed purchases returnable? TOP All furniture and custom-designed bedding, accessories, select gifts and other made-to-order products require payment in full upon ordering. Because artisans craft these items based on your specifications, Mama & Baby Essentials cannot accept returns or cancellations on these products and all sales will be final. Can I place an order over the phone? TOP Unfortunately we are only able to process orders on our secure online server or you may send payment in the form of a money order. We hope to offer this service in the future. Money orders should be sent to: Mama & Baby Essentials, 1167 S.W. 26th Avenue, Deerfield Beach, Florida 33442. Follow the normal checkout procedure and choose this option. Include a copy of your invoice with your payment. What payment types are accepted? TOP Mama & Baby Essentials will accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and PayPal payments/E-checks. Money orders are also accepted. How and when are products shipped? TOP
Products are shipped to the Continental U.S. via the USPS, Fed-Ex and UPS. We will not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO's or FPO's.
Products are shipped Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays. All in-stock products will be shipped within 2-3 days. Custom orders will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If you order a product that is not in stock, you will be contacted via email for an estimated time of arrival. Will you ship to a different address other than my own? TOP We will ship to any address that you like, other than P.O. Boxes and APO's/FPO's. Be sure to specify the name and address in the "shipping address" section during checkout. You may also include a gift message for the recipient. Please specify gift. What are your shipping prices? TOP Please see the link at the top left of any page located under our logo. This includes pricing for Domestic and International shipments. What happens to items that are returned undeliverable, refused or unclaimed? TOP Orders that are returned to us for an incorrect shipping address, unclaimed or refused will be charged a second shipping fee and a handling/service fee of $10. It is the customer's responsiblity to ensure the correct mailing address is being used. Why did I only receive part of my order? TOP In some instances items are shipped directly from the distbutor i.e.; custom items, personalized items and additional items as noted on the product page. Do you ship Internationally? TOP At this time we are only shipping within the U.S. and to Canadian provinces. If your items are shipping to a Canadian province, you MUST contact us for a shipping quote. Otherwise, you may place your order and we will email you the shipping charges. Please email service@MamaAndBabyEssentials.com to inquire about shipping charges to international destinations. How long will it take to receive my international order? TOP Most international orders are shipped via Airmail the following business day after the order was placed. Airmail takes approximately 4-10 business days. However, because items do occasionally get hung up in customs and become delayed, you should wait at least one full month. If your order still has not arrived after one month, please contact us at Service@MamaAndBabyEssentials.com. Can I order an item that is out of stock? TOP Yes, we will be more than happy to order an out of stock item for you. It will take approximately 1-2 weeks for us to receive it. There are times when orders do take longer than 2 weeks or have been discontinued. In the event your item is no longer available, you will receive an email. We appreciate your patience in this matter. Please contact us via email to make sure the item has not been discontinued at service Service@MamaAndBabyEssentials.com. How can I check the status of my order? TOP
You will be notified via email once your order has been shipped. You may also log on to www.MamaAndBabyEssentials.com and click on the "Order Tracking" link. Do you charge sales tax? TOP Orders shipped within the state of Florida will pay 6% sales tax. All other orders are exempt. Can I cancel my order? TOP Items that are in stock and not customized can be cancelled providing they have not shipped. You must do this within 24 hours of purchasing. Personalized orders cannot be cancelled once they are placed. Do you offer Express shipping? TOP Most of our products are available for Express shipping. Please contact us with the shipping address and name of item for a shipping quote. Is my transaction secure? I don’t see https:// in the url. TOP
Shopping at Mama & Baby Essentials is safe and secure. When paying with a credit card you will enter your non-secure information such as your name and address, then you are transferred to a secure page to collect your credit card details.
Please note that our secure page only appears when entering card details. You will notice that once you are ready to enter your card number, the URL changes to https:// instead of http:// which shows you the browser is then in a secure state. If you pay via Paypal, the secure transaction takes place on the Paypal website.
What is your privacy policy? TOP
Any information that you submit to Mama & Baby Essentials will not be sold or otherwise released to a third party.
All personal information collected during your shopping experience is used to fulfill your order or advise you of the status of your order.
