Kathleen Virtue has been painting for as long as she can remember. By the age of sixteen, summers were spent selling her original artwork at local festivals. Now, as a first time mom, Kathleen has been led back to her first love – painting.

The concept of personized plates came to Kathleen while having a family dinner one ordinary Tuesday night. That Tuesday night, every last plate in the house was dirty so, Kathleen dusted off her wedding china and they had their meal in style! Kathleen asked herself,"Why not make every meal a celebration? Why not use special plates everyday?". The result was a cheery line of personalized plates with lots of personality. Kathleen brings a stylish twist to traditional themes.

Each and every plate is hand-painted and signed by Kathleen. Her trademark is the wonderful detail she gets by using teeny-tiny brushes on each plate. Personalizing every plate with names and dates transforms them from super cute plates to treasured keepsakes. Kathleen says, "Every plate has a story, just like all of us!".
